I actually watched this car race in Habana at the Columbia Air Base. I believe Stirling Moss won that race. Sir Moss also won El Gran Premio de Cuba, after four laps, in 1958. Juan Manuel Fangio was kidnapped by the same "revolutionary thugs" that put on the race in 1960. The race was stopped after my father's partner Armando Cinfuentes lost control of his Ferrari and plowed through a crow of people killing a few and injuring many.
