Lotus XI in Traffic

I can’t remember where I first stumbled across this photo—Bulgogi Brothers, maybe?—but it wasn’t until recently that I had a much fuller appreciation of it. Seeing this little Lotus looking vulnerable in Paris traffic is one thing, but look closer at the surrounding vehicles and you’ll see that this is no vintage shot.

Thank you for your chutzpah, Lotus driver.

Update: This photos is originally from Flickr user Zirwilliam, who has a bunch of great car shots.

Wonder if its a Westfield replica? Certainly brave to battle Paris traffic in that! Perfect for a ‘Rendezvous’ reenactment though!

I’m not sure where I first came across that shot – but I’ve had it as my wallpaper for a few weeks now. At client meetings it always get some attention.

Nice to see you like this picture !
A friend of mine shot it on the opening day of 2008 Tour Auto. The car is mine and is in fact a Westfield XI. I use it as much as I can and quite often in Paris, as long it doesn’t pour.
