What’s a Vintage Racing Geek to do in London?

I’m planning my first trip to London in May for one of the Specials reunion shows (YES!). Anyone have suggestions for spots in London that a vintage racing fan shouldn’t miss. So far I’ve only made plans to visit MotorBooks, but there has to be more shops, musuems, showrooms and the like that I should be taking in. If you have any suggestions, please share them in the comments.

There is probably an endless amount of things to do there – but the Brooklands Museum is about 17 miles from Heathrow Airport. You can see the old banking, plus the aviation and motoring museum. http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com

Let me know how it is!

I’ve only been to London once, but a friend recommend having a pint at the Ship Tavern, a beautiful, haunted pub. Check it out:
    Definitely worth finding.
    Have on for me.
